Sustaenia started as a passion project in 2019—a platform for sharing sustainability insights—but has since grown to include a collective of the world’s most dedicated environmental educators, researchers, and practitioners.
Our team includes certified sustainability consultants, field-tested practitioners with decades of implementation experience, former university professors, and strategic leadership in ESG and environmental management.

David Sunack is a sustainability strategist. With over fifteen years of hands-on experience, he’s led environmental transformations across continents—from grassroots community projects to Fortune 500 ESG implementations.
David is a sustainability practitioner at heart. He’s spent the past decade designing climate action plans, building certification frameworks, and testing real-world solutions across diverse sectors and geographies. He’s mentored organizations through their sustainability journeys, learning what strategies create lasting impact and what approaches fall short.

Olivia Cooper is an environmental advocate who collects field research, climate solutions, and real-world impact stories. She’s passionate about anything that advances sustainability—whether through policy analysis, community engagement, or innovative green technologies.
She has a background in environmental engineering and understands the complexities of systems design, implementation, and scalability. She loves using this knowledge to evaluate sustainability frameworks and is a dedicated systems thinker committed to building solutions that work in practice, not just in theory.

Li Chen is a sustainable finance expert specializing in ESG strategy, capital allocation for climate transition, and financial innovation across emerging and developed markets. Li is a dedicated practitioner who has advised more than 40 organisations—from Fortune 500 multinationals to impact-focused startups—and led decarbonisation financing initiatives across North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
His deep connection to environmental stewardship was forged through years of mountaineering across the Rockies and Himalayas, leading backcountry expeditions, and witnessing firsthand the impacts of climate change on glacial ecosystems and alpine communities.
Keisha Clarke
Environmental Activist
Keisha Clarke is an environmental activist and chief mobiliser who leads community-driven sustainability initiatives, grassroots decarbonisation campaigns, and inclusive climate action programmes. She’s on a lifelong pursuit to build environmental leadership in underrepresented communities and amplify local voices in global sustainability conversations.
When she’s not advising organisations on stakeholder engagement, you can find her on the ground—connecting citizens to climate solutions, facilitating community workshops, and catalysing meaningful environmental transformation across North America and beyond.
